Chronicare started with a deeply personal understanding of chronic conditions. Our founders, having witnessed firsthand the immense challenges patients and caregivers face, felt a calling to revolutionize care – to lighten the burden and foster true, continuous support.
This compassionate drive, combined with years of expertise in healthcare and technology, led us to innovate. We craft solutions designed with real people in mind, because we know every individual journey holds immense value.
We are building the social immune system for patients – a dedicated space where emotional and practical needs are met, ensuring you're cared for not just during, but especially in between doctor visits.

Oliver Achard Ravn
Co-founder & CEO
Oliver's journey with chronic illness began at fifteen, when psoriasis first surfaced and introduced him to life's unpredictability. Later, inflammatory bowel disease and ankylosing spondylitis added layers of complexity, each condition deepening the physical pain and emotional struggle. Like many with chronic illness, Oliver also experienced depression, anxiety, and the isolation fueled by stigma and silence.
Rather than be defined by these experiences, Oliver chose to confront them directly. He pursued studies in business and healthcare innovation, then built a career in biotech, always seeking ways to turn personal experience into something meaningful for others.
Guided by both personal insight and professional experience, Oliver founded Chronicare together with Alex and Stefan: a platform built so no one has to face chronic illness alone.
Alex Dadi Reynisson
Co-founder & CTO
Alex has always been driven by the desire to build technology that makes a real difference in people's lives. His own experience living with ADHD gives him a personal connection to the challenges of navigating daily life with a chronic condition.
With a background in Business Analytics (MSc), he gravitated toward software development, driven by a desire to build tools that are both functional and deeply human-centered.
At Chronicare, Alex focuses on building secure, intuitive technology that makes it easier to find community with others who understand. His work ensures the platform remains a trusted, people-first space.
Stefan Lave Nagel
Co-founder & CPO
Stefan's drive to build Chronicare comes from lived experience supporting someone very close to him through the challenges of a late-diagnosed neurodevelopmental condition. He saw the emotional toll and daily uncertainty firsthand. At the same time, he witnessed how powerful it can be to connect with others who share the same condition and truly understand. These experiences shaped his belief that no one should have to navigate chronic illness without community around them.
With a background in design and innovation, Stefan leads Product and UX at Chronicare, focusing on building a platform that truly serves the people using it. At Chronicare, we do this by engaging deeply and frequently with patients to build an app, and a company, that is genuinely built around their lives.
